Scott has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and investment. He has held senior executive level positions for institutional, private, multi-state development and investment companies, (First City Properties, Inc. – Belzberg family, Casden Properties LLC – Alan Casden, and Griffin Real Estate Management – Griffin family). Scott has specialized in underwriting and financing large- scale master planned communities, multi-family, and commercial properties. During his career, he has negotiated over $4.0 billion of corporate and project financing using traditional debt, joint venture, private placement, and off-balance sheet structures, including the formation and capitalization of a privately owned apartment REIT comprising 90,000 apartments.
Scott has directed the proactive management of the business operations including corporate strategic business planning, project feasibility, underwriting, and all aspects of the financial and managerial reporting functions. He has also led acquisitions, dispositions, and management of multi-family, student housing, and commercial properties.
Scott graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and California State University, Northridge. He is a CPA and alumnus of Deloitte and Touche.
