Michael began his real estate career in 2005 and has experience in acquisitions, lending, finance, and development. He has held the role of Director of Acquisitions focusing on multifamily and student housing properties at several family offices.
He was also a Managing Director at RealtyMogul, a leading online real estate crowdfunding platform. At RealtyMogul he originated, negotiated, and closed nationwide real estate joint venture, preferred equity, and mezzanine investments in multifamily, office, and retail properties. He also formed and led the team responsible for acquiring multifamily properties owned directly by RealtyMogul. During his career Michael has been the deal lead for the acquisition of thousands of value-add apartment units.
Michael has also originated and closed loans and has worked in land acquisition and development with a developer of master- planned communities and apartments.
Michael has a JD from Loyola Law School, an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a BA from UC Irvine. He is also a licensed attorney and California real estate broker.
